In 1893, a French doctor named Alexandre Yersin discovered the isolated plateau of Lang Bian. He was seduced by the beauty of its landscapes as well as by the invigorating nature and purity of the air. |
The Colonial Government then conceived of a plan to construct a new city devoted to rest and leisure.
From 1919, vegetables and fruits imported from France were planted and a big lake dug. Then the Cathedral, the Governor’s Palace, luxury hotels, schools, administration center, hospital, golf course… were constructed.
Dalat thus became the smart station of Far East called “ the little Paris” and connected with wealthy and fashionable people. Life was brilliant in the insouciance of “Belle Epoque”

Foreign and local tourists alike will have no trouble finding the hotel. It is a mere 30-minute drive from the Lien Khuong Airport. If you’re flying in from Ho Chi Minh City, you can reach our Dalat resort in about 45 minutes. From Hanoi it’ll take you a little less than 2 hours.
Dalat lies in the south central highlands of Vietnam. It is casually referred to as “The City of Eternal Spring” and equally known as “Le Petit Paris” in allusion to the scaled down version of the Eiffel Tower at the city centre.

This thriving metropolis is home to the picturesque Xuan Huong Lake and the numerous European-inspired edifices that line its wide city streets. Soaring high at 1,500 metres above sea level, Dalat likewise boasts rolling mountains and tree-lined terrain, making it a favourite summer destination. |
